This Weeks Stats
Hi! There are no stats for this week because i hardly got a response. If you can come answer them, than next week we can do them. Thanks!
This month's writing topic is: What Literary Character Do You Yee Yourself as, and Why?
Yamamoto Tsunetomo. He was a samurai a long time ago, he served as a 'retainer' which is the same as a helper except much more dedicated to the master. He and the other samurai of the time had a lot of things that they believed set them apart from regular people, things like courtesy, honor, value, and other beliefs were very important to them. One of Tsunetomo's friends kept a journal of the conversations he had with him and made a book called "Hagakure" which is by far my favorite book.
I try and apply the things he teaches in the book to my daily life and substitute the way of the samurai for the path of Christ.
